Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) booked a 5.9% rise MoM (month-on-month) in revenue to Rp 77.6B, or up 16.9% YoY (year-on-year) from August 2001.

The television company as of the end of August 2002 (January-August 2002) had recorded a 15.2% increase YoY in earnings to Rp 495B.

In the meantime, the company's television market share slipped to 18.1% in August from 18.8% a month earlier. The slim decline in market share was attributed to tighter competition between local television companies. SCMA Sell On Strength.
