Participation in the stock competitions on this web site and eligibility for prizes are subject to the Official Rules by which all entrants are bound. Please note that by registering on the web site, the individual agrees to abide by the Official Rules. In addition, the participant agrees that all information entered on the web site is owned by eSamuel.com and can be used for any purpose, including publication in other mediums.

STOCK TOURNAMENTS

1. Every participant would be provided virtually by initial capital of cash portfolio Rp 500.000.000 (five hundred million rupiahs) to be invested in the stocks listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No charge to enter or participate, the Stock Tournament is totally free.

3. Participants must be living in Indonesia to be eligible for tournament prizes.

4. PT e-Samuel Indonesia and its affiliate’s employees and their relatives (and anyone live in the same household with) are not eligible for tournament prizes.

5. eSamuel.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for any reason.

6. Participant will be represented by their “Login Name” that the participant chooses on the registration form on every new period of game.

7. The odds of winning this tournament are determined by the trades entered by participants, the skills of the participants in selecting stocks and the value of the stocks at the time of the trades.

8. Ones who deserve to win are those having the highest difference of portfolio value in percentage from the beginning to the end of period or in the other words having the highest gain percentage during the period.

9. Potential winners must certify that they have followed the Official Rules of this Tournament. Non compliance may result in disqualification, in which case the next highest scoring portfolio will be awarded the winner.

10. There will be winners chosen every game session with the prizes that will be announced every beginning of tournament period

11. eSamuel.com reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value as the final award. Winner may make no substitution or transfer of prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Tournament Administrator, and each entrant warrants that he or she has read all contest rules.

12. All taxes concerning to the gift, like the gift tax and other taxes, are completely the winner's burden.

13. eSamuel.com reserves the right to disqualify any participant if that person has, in it’s sole discretion, violated any of the Tournament's terms and conditions.

14. We would call the winner through e-mail for verification. If the e-mail address written in the registration form is different from the winner's e-mail, we are not responsible for the gift sending to the wrong person.

15. The method of the gift awarding would be determined by the organizer or in this case eSamuel.com after the verification performed. 

16. eSamuel.com is not responsible for human errors which compromises the administration or proper play of the Tournament. eSamuel.com reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the Tournament or modify these Official Rules at any time without notice.

17. By participating, participants agree that the decisions of eSamuel.com in the selection of winners and awarding prizes will be final and binding all matters relating to the eSamuel.com Stock Tournament. Participants agree to and hereby releases eSamuel.com and its officiers, directors, agents, and employees from all liability of any kind concerning the eSamuel Stock Tournament or any prizes awarded.

The eSamuel.com Stock Tournament has been designed to participants’ ability to earn money with stocks trading on the Jakarta Stock Exchanges. Upon registration and enrolment, each contestant will be supplied with a Rp 500,000,000 fantasy cash portfolio, entered in the next tournament. Tournaments usually start on the first trading day of a month and end on the last trading day of the month. However, alternate dates may be specified at the sole discretion of eSamuel.com.

The following trading rules will be in effect:

1. Trades may be entered at any time of the day or night while the Tournament is in session.

2. Only market orders are accepted, no limit or stop orders. All trades are only be executed if there is any actual trade occurred on JSX.

3. Trades places before the market is open will be executed at the market open price; if the stock requested has not traded at that day then the trade will be executed at the closing ask/bid for that day.

4. Trades entered that is not executed until 05:00 PM will be expired . While, trades entered after 05:00 PM will be proceced on next trading day.

5. Short selling is not allowed. Margin is not allowed.

6. You cannot make a trade on a stock until it has already been traded on an exchange on that day.

7. A virtual commission of 0.2% will be charged to the Tournament portfolio for each trade.

8. The standings in the tournaments are determined by the total return for the portfolio over the course of the competition.

9. Halted stocks are not available for trading while they are halted.

10. eSamuel.com reserves the right to invalidate any transaction, liquidate any position, or disqualify any competitor for any reason. Prices and total returns will be calculated by tournament staff, and their judgement regarding appropriate and accurate accounting will be final.

11. eSamuel.com will not not entertain any questions regarding contest trades. eSamuel.com will provide general customer service assistance to participants but not investment advice.

Winners will be notified by e-mail within 3 days after the conclusion of the Competition. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release within 7 days of notification. By accepting prizes, each winner grants to eSamuel.com the right to use the winner's name and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and other commercial purposes without further permission or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

If the winner a) is ineligible, or b) does not accept the prize, or c) fails to provide a valid and reliable e-mail, the prize will go to the contestant with the next highest total return. Thus, it is important to supply a valid and reliable e-mail address when entering the tournament.

Ten participants with the then-highest Total Return will be displayed daily to all participants.

Winners’ name will be posted on the Website on or about 3 days after the end of each game period. Participants agree to allow their trading histories and ending portfolio to be displayed on the Website.

In no event will esamuel.com, the information providers of the market information providing market information on the stock tournament web site, or anyone else be liable to you or anyone else for any consequential, incidental, special or indirect damages (including but not limited to lost profits, trading losses and damages) that result from inconvenience, delay or use of the information provided to you. You also understand that neither esamuel.com, nor the information providers, shall have any liability, contingent or otherwise, for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or correct sequencing of any information provided to you, or for any decisions made or actions taken by you in relevance upon such information.

eSamuel.com are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Tournament which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Tournament. If for any reason, (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of eSamuel.com, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Tournament), the Tournament is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend the Tournament. If the Tournament is canceled, only those prizes won prior to the cancellation date will be awarded.
